About Randy

I have a robust career helping clients and companies solve key business problems, identify white space opportunities, and ultimately connecting the data dots, all with a keen eye towards uncovering new insights to drive the business forward.  I've worked across a multitude of different industries and a range of company sizes, building and enhancing organizational Analytics & Insights DNA.  Besides operating my own consulting company, I’ve also helped build and lead award-winning Analytics & Insights teams for global Food & Beverage companies such as:

  • Campari Group (US)

  • Brown-Forman Corp.

  • C. Mondavi & Family

  • Atkins Nutritionals

I utilize data analytics, qualitative / quantitative research insights, macro industry trends and category / consumer insights to provide guidance and recommendations on company, brand, and channel strategy. My philosophy is to partner with my clients and companies that I work for to help them understand what their data is saying, where the opportunities are (both current and future), and which opportunities make the most sense to pursue & leverage.

A seasoned analytics & insights leader, Randy works with clients and companies to build, expand, and enhance their Analytics & Insights capabilities, developing short-term and long-term Analytics & Insights roadmaps and ultimately helping shape an organization’s Analytics & Insights DNA.

Randy has over 20+ years of analytics, insights and strategy experience with companies such as Molson Coors Beverage Company, C. Mondavi & Family, Brown-Forman, Campari Group, Atkins Nutritionals, OtterBox and his own CPG-focused consulting company, randybrowne consulting.

He holds an MBA from the University of Denver and a BBA from Adrian College in Michigan.  Randy has also been a guest lecturer at the HRTM school at The University of Denver, in their Advanced Beverage curriculum, and a guest lecturer at the Sonoma State University’s Wine Business Institute and Boise State University’s MBA program.
